Patrick's Point. We've not been back there since we went camping around the country the first year of our marriage.

It's a popular spot. The campground is always full in the summer months.

Another Patrick's Point, this time of Wedding Rock (people actually get married at this place), shot with the F 17-28:

(which I read is fairly 'new') - mastered it like about any kind of old or new lens.

Normally, when I hike (or ski) with the family, I don't have much time to compose or switch lenses, except during breaks, but this sky ...

... made me stop and switch to the 12mm Samyang FE. If sharpness of the F 17-28 should ever become a real concern, the Samyang is really hard to beat ...

Nice shot with the Samyang 12. I originally had planned to get the Samyang/Rokinon 12, and I looked at literally hundreds of images taken from that lens on flickr. But then I ran across some FF images from the F 17-28 and, while photos from that lens were obviously not as sharp as from the Samyang, I nonetheless was deeply impressed with the colors and rendering of this Jun Hirakawa designed optic. Plus I really appreciate a fisheye lens that zooms.

Another shot with the F 17-28:

Love my FE lenses and have been happy with both the APS-C and Q FE's that I have. Which FE would you get, if you could have only one, for the K-1, and why? My FE for APS-C is the Vivitar bagged Samyang 8mm. I do not believe it works on FF, is that correct?

If you have the one with the removable hood and take it off, you get an almost circular fish-eye - it has some short straight edges top and bottom otherwise showing almost half a sphere. With the hood, you get the almost circular image, with the hood in the picture just outside the APS-C crop image area.
