Thanks for the kind remarks. Patrick's Point is maybe the best place on the northern California coast for fisheye images, because of the strong rocky foreground combine with an absence of tall straight trees. It also helps to have a fisheye zoom, like the DA 10-17 for APS-C cameras or the F 17-28 for FF. Here's another Patrick's Point shot with the F 17-28:

I found a bridge support that just like the one found by dbs, was high enough to see the Earth's curvature. BTW: Bottom a little right of center, in the river, is the top of one support for the old bridge.
