Mousehole Harbour has a very interesting design. Outstanding protection for a boat during a storm, if is is small enough to get in.

The picture of the Sun somehow made me think of a bright marble settling into the bottom of a wash basin.

I've been out surveying for the last month. It's a bit hard to come-up with new perspectives on the same repetitive task but I quite liked this one taken with the fish-eye on a Q-S1. (x-posted with the Q images thread).

Thanks. I was pleased dust off the F 17-28 and give it a whirl. Always fun and challenging to shoot fisheye. Here's another one:

I think I like the additional wave action in the second one. But both are good.

I like the white foam and wave action in the second, but I find that calm flat pond almost perfectly centered horizontally just a bit distracting.

The entire image is about anger and about the rough environment with the angry orange sky, rugged rocks, and crashing surf. But there is a calm pond in the middle. That is why I like the first better. It does not have that incongruity.

I just love the angry lower sky, rough sea, and rugged rocks. All along with storm clouds. Northcoastgreg must have wanted to communicate anger. This is far better than I could have conveyed it

30 second exposure, ISO bumped up to 400, then exposure bumped up 2 stops in post-processing. I always find it interesting how the fisheye perspective is undistorted in the centre; it was very windy, which explains the blurring in the trees and vegetation.

Liverpool Skyline - with the cruise liner "Queen Elizabeth" at the cruise terminal, the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company catamaran "Manannan" to the right, the Three Graces, the Liverpool Museum of Life, the Radio City tower(Mersey Funnel), the Albert Dock buildings, with the Catholic Cathedral(Paddy's Wigwam) peeping above it in the background, the M&S Arena, and the Anglican Cathedral above and behind.
