These were my first attempts at sunsets the other day down in SW FL. They don't seem all that fishy as they were at 17mm.

Are you on SDPF?

I don't think I know what SDPF is, actually. Is it something I should know about?

I do things with the San Diego dSLR Photography Group, in fact we just had the monthly group shoot at Bernardo Winery this past Saturday. I was there for that. It's a good core group of people, with new folks popping in all the time. If you're not familiar with that the website is: sandiegodslr.com

sdphotoforum.com, I'm a mod there. Small board, but we do group shoots as well, and a lot of us are buddies outside of 'togery.

I'll join up on the DSLR group, and check it out!

It certainly would be related to the shot tower at Melbourne Central Johnno.

Yip, it would indeed. Here's another take on the same shot tower (link rather than actual pic, as it's not actually fish-eye and I'd hate to contaminate the thread):

Can't let the most interesting "club" thread of all go dormant.

Troy,
Thanks for the film shots from the Zenitar. It is a good lens on APS-C, but truly fun in the 35mm format. Are your pictures from the North Cascades and Methow Valley (Highway 20) by any chance?

Steve
