You have a number of ways :

1. Sometimes a simple auto-curves will cure your ills.
2. A3 has special tools for wiping away PF - use the CA block.
3. If no other purple in the image then you can selectively desaturate colours.
4. Halo reduction sometimes works.
5. Lens Correction profiles can also do the job.
6. PTLens (small $) works too.

See which works for you.

How about for taking shots of the soon to be nursery....strobes in the shot. they are easy enough to locate
