It's Frank Gehry, and pretty much true to form for him. This building is sometimes called the "paper bag" building. Fortunately it was just a few blocks up from my hotel.

A slight variation of this shot posted in a different thread. This one taken with the camera slightly farther from the flower, so more of the background trees are included.

I love that about this lens. If you need to capture something quick that you wouldn't want fishy, you can snap to 17mm and save the day. I doubt there are many other lenses that have this feature.

Very true. It is a great lens, it's only a lack of ready money that keeps me from getting one of my own.

Night shots were made for the Rokinon 8mm

With a fish-eye, you commonly need to get close to your subject. I can see that may have unanticipated advantages.
