Couple of shots at 10mm with 10-17 Fisheye
The second shot, of the dock, is really special.

Thanks. No defishing applied, i was probably crouching or leaning in some awkward position in order to get that composition with a straight horizon.

I love the flexibility of the 10-17 in tuning how much distortion one wants in the picture. Even at 10mm from almost the same spot you can get from
relatively unobtrusive curvature to the obvious fisheye look if you like it...

I like both images as well as the demonstration of how versatile the 10-17 actually is. The 10-17 is truly a little gem in the Pentax lens line up.

I wish it had a little bit less PF; because there is no other compact UWA zoom lens for APS-C other than the DA10-17mm fisheye. The only other compact APS-C UWA is the DA15mm F/4; which isn't always wide enough. If there was a little less PF, I would also use the DA10-17mm at 12mm and defish to 10mm equivalent.

Still love the DA10-17mm fisheye though, just because it is such a compact masterpiece for when you really want to get it all in.
