I for one would like to see this thread open to all the 85s -one lens for a thread?....- I also have the tak 85 1.8 and the 85 1.9 - both of which take wonderful photos - though we all know the A series 85 doesn't quite keep up with the rest

but maybe we could let the Sweetheart play as well.

Since getting into flash photography this year, this lens is never off my K1.

K1 + FA*85mm 1.4 1/180s f11 3 flashes key/fill/kicker

But the FA 85/1.4 is not just any lens. A club just for, say, the Sears 135 f 2.8 would be a different matter.

Great photo. I share your love for this lens, but I do not leave it on the camera all the time. At night, I take it off of the K-1, add front and back caps, gently wrap it in soft cloth, and then store it in the lens cabinet until the next time of use.
