Just received the muse for Christmas...and recorded the madness of my dogs getting their gifts.

Kricket, welcome to the Lensbaby world and this forum. You will have so much fun with the new Muse. Good start with the house animals. You are getting the hang of the LB fast. I like your images and can't wait to see more. Try the Muse on out of focus Christmas tree lights before tearing down the tree.
thanks

Found this little tractor sitting on a beach while on a walk a couple days after Christmas. K-r, Composer with Double Glass, f/2, 1/1250th and 1/320th, ISO200.

Kricket - very nice, specially like the first one, perfect teeth, "Smiling"?

Barondla - I was wondering where have you been, glad to see you around!

Joe - I like the soft, high key look of the set, well done!

This one just kinda jumped at me, heads through the window, and the one with the scratch on the face almost looked like it was crying... "Dreams, if they only could..."

Duh_Vinci - I really like your "Aged" series, all of 'em!

Here I've got mixed Christmas and Hands themes. I have a hands thing

Our local burger joint had a Christmas tree decorated with....glass-balls shaped like Hamburgers, I kid you not:

Wet floor warning at the local coffee shop. I really like the flare & lensing effects:

espresso machine:

Hands...

....which then took my picture taking pictures, so I took a picture of the picture in the hands:

You can get some truly creep-tastic effects of mundane scenes with the Lensbaby. I love that :P

That is exactly right! No other lens that I've ever had/have/tried allows you to have so much input into how you'll get your finished photo, and you demonstrate that splendidly in your set!

Joe Nation, the tractor on the beach was quite a find. Love the disconnect between subject and surroundings.

Ecaterin, hands holding device with hands pictured is very creative and kind of Twilight zoneish. Can hear Rod Serling now.

Duh Vinci, can see why the heads attract and keep your attention. The atmosphere is amazing.

Time to add one of mine. Pentax K-7, Lensbaby Composer/zoneplate optic with super wide attachment. 3 shot HDR. Raw files converted in Silkypix/Pentax. HDR images merged in Unified Color Technologies Expose. Additional processing in PSE9. Wasn't sure zoneplate images could even be merged.
thanks

Barondla - very interesting work. I've yet to try a zonplate/pinhole optic (I have it), seem like you can get some very unique results from it!

Ecaterin - are you becoming a lensbaby addict? Nice series, and looks like you getting along with your new lens just fine!

D

Christmas decorations

This is the first time I've tried posting in the Lensbaby area. I really enjoy this little lens - but it sure can get me frustrated (my eyesight isn't exactly great for manual focussing). Here a couple I took on Christmas day. Encouraging feedback would be welcomed!
