I think its a great price for the combo, and you dont have to worry about changing those aperture rings... I still use my old Composer with standard optics, usually f2.8 or wide open...

I bit the bullet from their refurb dept, Tilt-Transformer $119, so I can use it with Nikkor glass... But for now with Double optics (wide open) on OLYMPUS EP3

D

Love it! My Composer Pro with Sweet 50 arrives on Monday so hopefully I'll have something to share soon. Unlikely to meet the quality of yours, but it'll be a fun learning process no doubt.

The most important part is to enjoy the experience, have fun with it, experiment with it! It is very enjoyable kit that allow you to take your imagination to wherever it wants to go...

Tilt Transformer with native Composer wide open on E-P3 (f/1.6 in lensbaby - I think its becoming my new favorite "go to" pretty quickly)

Colors Of The Winter V

Despite that Tilt Transformer's m43 native optics is Double Glass, with it's supplied focal reducer/m43 screw on adapter makes this combo behave entirely different than ANY other lensbaby.... Bokeh, colors, isolation - everything is different! Easily becoming my absolutely favorite lensbaby combo!

D

Duh_Vinci, You're inspiring me to take out my Lensbaby; I think you're inspiring everybody!

What you're posting is pure art.

You are using a Lensbaby as it was meant to be used.

Please keep it coming.

Klaus, Mike - thank you for your comments, you are much too kind!

I do enjoy what Lensbaby allows me to do more than any other lens... And in all honesty, if I had to have just "one" lens, it would be Lensbaby. Still on the same setup, and more "Colors Of The Winter"

I had a class mate that used a lens-baby. I'm still not sure if I would ever want to. What is the desired effect? Blurry around the edges? Please enlighten me.
