Something I didn't really understand until I received my Twist-60, but many different Lensbaby lenses are available in K-mount. My Twist-60 is a glass & brass optic that nests into a plastic K-mount tube with a focusing mechanism. Most Lensbaby lenses marked as "Optic Swap System" can nest into this one tube, so just about any "Optic Swap System" lens can become a Pentax-compatible lens.

I think this was also the idea behind the Tamron Adaptall system back in the 1980s? I don't know for sure.

So I bought my Twist-60 new, direct from Lensbaby, in K-mount, and certainly that's the best way to send a market signal to the company that Pentax is an audience for its products. But now I find myself exploring other Lensbaby offerings on eBay, in a variety of mounts, with the idea that I could pop out the optic and put it on my K200D.

I've been using my Lensbaby Twist 60 quite a bit this winter, partly because I'm a little stir crazy. I've been so busy with school that I'm lucky if I can find a few moments to slip outside and take a few shots of the intersection down the street, so that's what I've been shooting, mostly.
