Merv-O, good pics especially last one, great colors and sharpness. One thing, did you add some vignetting to the first picture in post? As I see it's F/2.8, shouldn't be there so intense?

STARBURST at F11

This Starburst-Effect is really great, razorsharp and really excellent from aperture F9 and higher.

BOKEH at F1.4

Soft an beautiful Bokeh, a really fast an accurate autofocus fully open at F1.4 - wow - Pentax, thatīs really a great lens

Lev:

I did in fact, add a bit of vignetting as I thought the White blooms against the beige/white curtain overwhelmed the white balance a bit and I wanted to make the subject the clear focal point. The 50mm Full frame worked fine in the APS-c mode, but I do notice some distortion/bokeh on the red flower toward the rear of the petals,

I see it at the top of the bouquet...it blurs into the background open the top of the blooms...here's another photo of the same bouquet with an APS-c lens and the detail is a bit different you'd agree (I hope)

Difference in details is day and night of course, but to see difference in what you're concerned about is impossible, aperture is different, perspective is different, I guess lighting conditions are also different from first shot. Can you link a full resolution original image?

True....just saying that I like the DOF and the glass designed for the APS-c cameras. anyway....photography is subjective...
