Excellent post work, display-ready. BTW I love your photostream. This image is not a one-off, they're all good. REALLY good.

Thanks so much for the kind words which are very encouraging. I am only just getting into this colour grading and hyper-processing stuff - and I know it's not for everyone. I still have a colossal amount to learn!

Street photography with the DFA* 50

I was out shooting with the DFA* 50 in Melbourne yesterday. Despite its size, I find it a wonderful street lens.

DFA* 35mm + DFA* 50mm + DFA* 85mm = paradise + one ultra wide DFA* would be paradise²

Patagonia, AZ

Temporarily living down south near Patagonia, AZ while some work gets done on the house. Great opportunity to explore a beautiful part of the state (and country for that matter). Also starting to get more in tune with this beauty of a lens to get more shots that I'm excited about. For example, I've learned to not be scared of shooting scenes that will need fairly heavy crops since the sharpness of this lens combined with the resolution of my K1 II can handle it. Here are a few shots from my excursions last weekend.

Circulo Montana (decent crop)

Sonoita Creek

Patagonia Lake State Park (another decent crop)
