I have 24 covered in both FF and APS-c. But like I did with the DA*55 1.4, I waited to see how much better the new one was before I ordered the 55. The 50 is better, but its 3 times the cost right now $1100 CAD more. It's not that much better.
So what I'm hedging against is buying a lens then wanting to get rid of it when the new one comes out. My FAJ 18-35 is not all that good, but it's surprisingly good on the K-1, if you can slive with the field curvature.
If I were to buy today it would probably be the Rokinon just because I really like my Rokinon 14 2.8.
