K-5 IIs with Tamron Adaptall-2 01B

so, to solve my sub-28mm dilemma, I bought an older version of a lens I already own, the Tamron 01B:

so, for $50 (adapter included), this has to be the cheapest way to get below 28mm....

I figured you did... but if you don't jump on it, there might be other 24mm fans here that might want it

I would if I could swing it... I love the 24mm focal length on APS-C... I have 3 anyway, and they're quite nice, so it's not like I really need it....

pepperberry, what do you think of the 01B vs 01BB? I'm afraid what it's going to cost to have my 01BB "straightened out" (barrel is misaligned like it was dropped) and wondering if getting a cheaper 01B is smarter money than having the 01BB fixed. Forum reviews seem to say the 01BB is much better optically but I trust someone that's had both more.

I honestly don't think I have spent enough time with the 01B to compare it to the 01BB... the physical changes in the lens actually make the 01BB more difficult to use, but I haven't seen much difference in the optics...
