Here's a sample of the Irix's 2.4/15mm starburst against the midday sun on an MZ-S.

That's cool, and nice comparison.

Here's a sun burst with the HD DA 20-40 in FF mode on the K-1, not a huge fan of it but its not offensive, for rounded aperture blades it's better than what I saw on the HD DA 15 and HD DA 21;

DA15 shines again !

We have, I believe, the same sculpture in our capital city of Ottawa.

The M200 f4 can also do it, real stars - the Orion Belt
It’s stacked of multiple pictures and would most likely be even more visible if it was a one exposure only.

I think they are the same too, the artist is very famous. There is a movie about a Canadian guy and his visual of this Maman spider which I believe it is filmed in Ottawa? Play by Jake Gyllenhaa.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enemy_(2013_film)

I've seen this film, really enjoyed it though it was odd in parts ('specially ending). In the movie is Jake supposed to be playing this artist who sculptured these spiders irl?

EDIT: I mean I recall spidery things, surrealness etc, we (my wife and I) were thinking it more to do with being visual metaphors, perhaps his feelings of his relationship, caught in a web etc.

I read the synopsis. It looks very strange, to say the least! Thanks for sharing.

This picture is not particularly remarkable, except that it shows one of the little-known perks of the FA43 : its ability to create superb starbursts. Now that I sold the DA21, the 43 is the best in my bag for this. Shot at F4, no less!

Cross-posted on the 40-43mm club.
