Crosspost, but here's a moon shot from my 80-200 sears zoom. I think there was some cloud coverage making it difficult to get sharper shots because it was hit or miss, not a bad performer though if I do say so myself.

Not a hint of CA anywhere stopped down, unlike the Pentax M 200mm.

I have a Sears 135mm f2.8 Zone lens. I shot a SIC, in March this year with it. Here's an example:

Thank you Christian. We work at it. Other than teaching in the university, photography and gardening are my main avocations, and my wife shares both of these hobbies.

Pressed the 300mm into eclipse duty the the night. The full eclipse shot is a bit muddy but I blame the O-GPS more than the lens.

curious as to why ya would use the o-gps (assuming astrotracer).......would the moon move that much in 2 seconds even at 300mm? alas I did not get to shoot it was terribly overcast here.......was like linus waiting on the great pumpkin!
