K-1ii and SMC 200 f4 at around f11-f16.
The thing on the left is a broken Mulberry Harbour Caission, left behind in 1944.

Oh, the unloved 200mm is just too long for flowers, especially the K 200/2.5 with its 200cm (6.6 ft) minimum focus distance.

Takumar 200/3.5 has even more challenging 2,5m MFD

Medium format 200mm

Here are some shots from the K-1 and Pentax 67 200mm f 4.0 with its MFD of only 150 cm, making it useful for flowers as well as birds. Lens is wide open here and a little soft, but sharpens up immediately with any stopping down.

To me, it looks like you're front-focusing slightly. I know the look, because I do it a lot

Thanks for mentioning the front focussing. You may be correct, and I will check on it next time by backing off a little on the focus to see what happens.

Doubling up

Here I am using the Pentax 67 200mm/4 again, this time on the 645Z, but adding a 2X rear converter, in effect creating a medium format 400mm lens. The idea is to get more reach from the super sharp P67 200/4. The lens has a 150cm MFD, not sacrificed by this setup, so that the new combo lens is quite useable for my flower photography. Here are a few quick snaps.
