I reveived Takumar 200/3.5 today. As my normal plan to post in M club is out, I'm looking for a new club for the shots. I believe this suits me better than Takumar club.

I bought this lens to substitute M200/4. Supposed to be sharper and with its 18 blades a real bokeh machine. Old lens seems to be in excellent condition and based on test shots it's working well.

Yes, I believe so. I thought they all were. Not really familiar with the term, as this is the first of its kind I own, but if I have understood correctly the preset refers to two aperture rings where one sets the limit and other smooth one sets the aperture.

Shipping $35 and lens $119. Total $154. With paypal exchange rate it was 143€ to me + 24%VAT to Finland. Lens was as described and everything went smoothly. This was the first lens I bought thru ebay or from Japan and based on experience might buy again if I can't find something in Finland or thru PF.

If someone else is interested, the same seller still has two other lenses on sale, thought not in quite as good condition. Mine was rated as Exc++ and these are Exc+ what ever that means

Pentax-FA 645 200mm f 4.0.

The Pentax-FA 200mm f 4.0 has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer for the Pentax 645 series of cameras, but still is a solid if not spectacular performer. Here are a few shots in our yard as winter gradually releases its grasp and signs of spring start to appear.

Dogwood Bloom
K-1 mII, A*200f4 Macro

I'll admit something embarrassing. I was aggravated by the tripod collar knobs on this lens because they are so in the way on the K-1/mII. It wasn't until *yesterday* that I figured out how to take it off. Sometimes, despite years in the educational system and working as a knowledge professional for years, I am embarrassed by my own stupidity!

When you take the collar off, it kind of looks like the Starship Enterprise, too. I played with it for a while like an 8 year old, so for a while my age and apparent intelligence were aligned.
