Mamiya Lens Club

at the suggestion of the mods, I've created a new thread that will become the Mamiya Lens Club...

all Mamiya lenses are welcome, whether they are 35mm or medium format or TLR.... what do you have?

unfortunately, I am only familiar with the M42-mount lenses, which only require an M42-K adapter for my K-5 IIs....

any photos of the lenses themselves, specifically the mount?

Stampede! We all race off to Ebay, start bidding up Mamiya lenses. Old man at the online antique store can't believe his eyes. "Mabel, we're rich!" Two more midwesterners start planning their move to Florida.

Hmmm, I have a Mamiya Sekor C 80mm /1.9 for 645 and there are adapters to PK. Would that work with a K-1? Covers the full frame? What focal length would that translate to?

that's a medium-format lens, isn't it?

if so, it should definitely work on a K-1 with the proper adapter....

The DTL cameras are M42 mount so they are easy. They take the AUTO Mamiya/Sekor lenses that will work fine. Be careful though, there are AUTO Mamiya/Sekor SX lenses (also M42) that can get stuck on your DSLR because a pin is different.
