Finally got the 35mm 2.8 Ltd out on a field test

Sunday, my besty was doing a promo Facebook LIVEcast to promote a couple women owned businesses at an International Women’s Day event being held at a local mall. I shoot stills for her and the orgs she is boosting. I took on the 35 Ltd and the 15 Ltd, a couple lenses that have been riding the shelf due to unpleasant weather.

I have three 35mm lenses over three formats - the DFA 645 f/3.5, the Sigma f/1.4 Art and the HD DA f/2.8 macro limited.

Most of the images have been posted elsewhere.

A few of my 35's

Some old shots I've taken with my 35's

SMC Tak 35/3.5 (which does not need any further introduction):

M 35/3.5:

Mamiya/Sekor 35/2.8:

Auto Chinon 35/2.8:

One more as this lens (Auto Chinon) gets the least amount of love among its 35mm fellows:

I've showcased in order of usage and likability on my behalf. Someday I will go pass film-day lenses and figure out what I am missing...

Just - wow. I think the 35mm focal length suits you Wonderful collection of shots.

Since I had my Flickr camera roll open to Fall 2016, here's a few more modest images from the A35/2.8 on K100D. Taken in & around Main Street.

Well thanks, I'm very flattered. I do really enjoy the 35mm FL.

Showcasing two good and different aspect of that lens right there - the nice bokeh it can produce at the end, and the true film-like colors in the houses (especially that first one). A-series are an odd ball though, you either get good things from them, or troubles in sticky apertures/haze/... You got a nice one I reckon.

Good amount of detail in the clippers... great contrast in the shadow/door/snow - those limited lenses are in another league!
