This field is across from my office and I finally brought my camera today. Whatever those tall grasses are, they are a beauty to behold in the morning sun.

They're phragmites, an invasive species to the US, but beautiful nevertheless.

Already posted elsewhere, but I'm really pleased with how this shot turned out, how the quality of the light in the scene translated so well in the final image. Taken with the 35 Limited (green stripe version).

soligor 35/f2.8 m42.....k-50.....ND4 & ND8 stacked.....believe i prefer the vND as i did not hafta remove it to attain focus whereas stacked had to remove each time i had to focus
