It's good to see you giving her some use. I hope you're enjoying the new addition.

I've also added a 35mm f/2 to my collection, the Sigma DG DN for L-mount. I had a chance for some testing yesterday after work and so far I'm very pleased.

These are cross-posted to the L-mount thread.

not dramatically smaller, but just enough...

Takumar 35/4

weight - 136g
dia x length - 53 x 33mm
filter ring - 46mm

Super/SMC Takumar 35/3.5 (depending upon version)

weight - 149 to 152g
dia x length - 56.5 x 34mm, some versions 57 x 34mm
filter ring - 49mm

and even the first k-mount 35/3.5 wasn't much bigger:

weight - 161g
dia x length - 63 x 36mm
filter ring - 52mm

HD FA35mm F2 Summer Afternoon

So amazed by the FA35mm. I never expected my K-50 to perform like this. And its anti-glare ability is so great.

My first attempt at using a telescopic pole for radio reception. It is 6 metres tall with a 15m random wire terminated into a homemade 9:1 Z (450 to 50 ohm) RF transformer that feeds some RG58CU coax. A really good temporary go anywhere installation for listening from 30 kHz to 50 MHz. Photo using Pentax K-x and Pentax 35mm f2.4 plastic fantastic lens.

Wandered into B&H this past July and tried the HD FA 35mm f2 on my Ricoh XR7. I liked how the lens felt to manually focus and the size & weight of the thing. Very nice to use on my manual focus 35mm camera.

Shot on Ilford HP5, pushed in Clayton F76+.
