it was suggested that this lens has enough of a following to warrant its own club...

I certainly think it is special enough for one.....

I bought my copy used from Adorama:

essentially, I replaced my Sigma 50mm f1.4 HSM with this lens:

got it from a fellow member via the market place

[ my wife has been nice to me once again ]

haven't used it much yet

hand held, through the glass of the enclosure at the Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center
