The takeaway word is - pocketable... yep nice combo - I bought the tripod after reading that review... the ball head i had already - its a bit big/heavy for this set up - sturdy is fine but overkill if not needed. A smaller head would be better - probabaly Momon's own product or the Leitz one shown on the acquisitions thread recently, but it would be five times more expensive at least than the tripod.

Trying out monochrome for a month with the 40mm limited on a K-01 , using the mono profile makes it easier to "see" in B&W

That's impressive! I'm looking forward to getting a 40 limited myself, I think I'll get a lot out of it as a "long normal" and it has obviously worked for you. Looking forward to seeing more.
