Well the F 135mm just arrived, and to be honest.... IM ASTONISHED!!! This lens is incredible as far as I can tell. It is by far the fastest auto focusing lens I have ever seen (close friends that shoot canon and nikon with various glass ranging from pro to kit). The sharpness is very good also at F/2.8, and bokeh is fantastic. This may just end up being a new favorite

Hopefully I can take some decent pictures to post.

well hurry up.

image taken from it's FA counterpart. practically the same lens and optical design and IF, floating element???, same fast AF. the only difference is cosmetic build.

It actually came on my first day of the school year (Junior in highschool), so my mom brought the K-7 and lens to school so I could take a couple snaps while I was waiting for my sister to get out.

Sadly I dont think I'll have anything worth posting for a few days thanks to school

Well these are just a couple super quick shots I took between finishing homework and eating dinner

(kind of odd taking pictures of mantids with something other than a macro setup!)

all at F/2.8

a bit of purple fringing, but that was to be expected and only showed up in a few situations.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the lens has quite honestly the worst MF feel/ergonomics I've ever felt with any lens save the DA 55-300mm. Despite this, its ridiculous AF makes up for it immensely

Ok so i've had it for a couple of days now, so i've got some decent shots to share....

Here's one to start with:

edit: and another

This is a LARGE crop of a fly mid flight @ the lenses MFD @ F/2.8 in VERY harsh light.
This is my first attempt at using AFC and i am very impressed when using a lens that Auto focuses so fast.

I just picked up an F series 24-50mm so I had a look through here and noticed that there were no shots from this lens. Anybody have one? They seem kinda rare. I will post some pics from mine as soon as I get a chance to take it out. As I plan to use it a bunch with film I will also try to post some film shots with it.

Yeatzee, your great photos made me dig up my own humble copy of the F135/2.8. I forgot how fast its AF was, now let me use the beauty again!

Im thinking this lens might just go into the "stay with me until I die" category along with the M 85mm F/2
