Awesome shots guys and dolls(if any) with F lens. As jsherman said in his opening post, the F line provide some of the best bang for little money. I would like to get a 24-50, 35-135 and a 70-210.
The F24-50 would be great, although I'd settle for the A version if the price was right.
Another from the F35-80 I acquired from royden (thanks!):

I made this tonight with the Takumar-F 70-210 (this is the place for those, right?).

I have the Takumar-F 70-210 and the SMC F 35-70 and wow, they really punch above their weight in color and rendition if you aren't hung up on edge-to-edge sharpness.

A couple of first test shots from today with the new-to-me F100-300mm. It's the first F Series lens I've ever owned as far as I can remember, and I think we're going to be very happy together.

Nice work Dave! Love those tones. Reminds me I have an optically identical FA100-300 (the one with the power zoom) stashed away somewhere. It never got much use, especially after I acquired a DAL55-300. But you've inspired me to dig it out and at least try it before I possibly put it up for sale.

It's very important to know that the lens passes the Pony Test!

I'm glad you had the "wrong" lens. I really like the way that this one shows the bird in its environment.
