Your first shot is spectacular, I love the layered look of mountain landscapes like that. Nicely done.

smc PENTAX-F 50mm F1.7

I found this lens at a rummage sale on a film Pentax body. I asked "How much?" and was told " um...three dollars." I figured I could gamble 3 bucks. I have been going through old pictures and was surprised at how often I go to this lens for blue/golden hour, night, and storm images.

It does work during the day.

But I really like how this lens handles stitched panoramas.

That was the deal of the century. You've got some really nice images.

I picked mine up as part of a package with a film SF1, a SMC Pentax-M 100mm f/4, and a SMC Pentax-F 70-210mm F4-5.6 for 200 CDN, and I thought that was a screaming deal.

I've been very pleased with the results I have got with the F lenses.

I think it's a great lens! A few more from last night.

First daytime-outing with my "new" F 35-105mm lens.
The filter thread is slightly busted (but not to an unusable extent) and there is a noticeable damage on the front element, nevertheless can this lens still produce some nice images.
