If I remember well, the street is at 24mm f4 and the castle is at 36mm F11. The 24-50mm is really an amazing lens, really, if you can get one do not hesitate. If you want more sample pictures just tell me

Super! If you have a flickr or picasa account let me know, otherwise, I'd like to see more images from the wide 24mm... Thanks!

Caught this during my business trip in Medan, Sumatera. Was using K-x coupled with the SMC-F 28-80 at 55 F/10. Very nice lens, shame it doesn't have shorter focusing distance.

LBA continues - I joined the F club ! Picked up at F50 1.7 last night, for the princely sum of $60.

Congrats on the sweet deal! And good luck with your LBA! It was my first AF prime and first F series prime, it lead me to buying four more F series primes! Damn LBA!

Recently picked up both an F 50/1.7 and an F 135/2.8. Here are a few initial shots from each (first 5 with 135, rest with 50). Really liking them both!

Picked up a F35-70 a few days ago with a fine looking SF10. Waiting for a battery to try it out. Paid the grand sum of $31.00. Here's a trio taken at 8:45pm 6/13/12. Hope you can see the EXIF. Sorry, I'm new at this

The old F50/1.7 with the K-5 at a wedding. I've found that stopping down to F2.4 does a lot for sharpness and contrast on my copy.

Although the F 1:2.8 28 mm is my favorite and most used lens, I haven't contributed to this thread...
Here are some images I took with my F 28 and F 35-70 (the last one) on my Pittsburgh vacation:

I find this is the case for every fast fifty I've used. I also find that f/2.4 is the sweet spot for reliably nailing focus in portraits (especially when manually focusing), though it depends on the amount of subject movement.
