You sure nailed the focus on that one! Nice shot.
I say micro, you say macro. He sure nailed it. I gave mine to my daughter and will get a chance to use it in a few weeks when I get to Philly on my new K-5lls. Chuck, I think you have too many cameras.

Yes, it's light lovely lens, but I'd like to replace it for K5iis with something like my canon 55-250mm sharp at any stop and with faster af. But it's lovely lens for portraits, I guess, it "softens" nicely.

You're right, and I also have too many lenses. It's the result of CBA and LBA, and I get a lot of enjoyment from it. As I upgrade to a newer model I just can't seem to part with the one that it replaced. The ME super was my first SLR, purchased back in 1980. So it has some sentimental value. The K10D was my first digital SLR and one of my granddaughters is using that one right now taking lots of nice pictures of my two great granddaughters. The Spotmatic F came with a couple of Takumar lenses (SMC 55/1.8 and SMC 135/3.5) all for $100, I just couldn't pass on the deal. Now the K-01, I got that when one of my other granddaughters wanted one and they were so discounted at the time you could get two for what one cost when they first came out. I got her a yellow one, and I went with the black one. And if that isn't enough, as I am writing this I am sitting here waiting for the UPS truck that is bringing me my early Christmas present to myself, a Silver Edition K-3 with matching grip and stylish leather wrist strap and an FA 43 f1.9 Ltd (silver of course). Thank you Black Friday!!! And on it goes.....

I've been collecting -F series primes for a while now, they're excellent little gems, the AF performance with the K-3 is astonishing.

Pentax-F 50mm f1.4 @ f3.2

Pentax-F 135mm f2.8

Pentax-F* 300mm f4.5

I'm also a big fan of "F" lenses. Colors, resolution and feeling are great. Some people say F lenses look ugly but it's a lens not a sculpture ;p Currently i have 28, 50 and 70-210 and i'm still looking for few more.

Pentax F 28/2.8

Pentax F 50/1.7

Pentax F 70-210/4-5.6

You said it Wojetek. What's important is the pics. You and your F lens are certainly a great combo. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. A Happy New Year
to all.

First day with my new F 70-210. $40 bucks on ebay. Not too bad a lens for a few bits.

I don't own any F lenses currently (have had and liked F28/2.8, F50/1.7, and F135/2.8 in the past), but have an F100/2.8 macro on the way which prompted me to peruse this thread tonight. Some great shots here. Thought I'd post a few that I took with the F50/1.7 (which was probably my most used lens for shooting my daughter during the first few months of her life).

First Christmas

Kiss (taken by my wife)

Happy

K-3 and F 70-210. Really impressed how sharp this lens is. Shot at F8 fully extended 210mm

On a recommendation from someone here on the forums I picked up an F 35-70 macro to go along with (and offset) the two big honking Samyang primes.

Its an absolutely amazing little piece of plastic.
