Nice job using shadow as strong compositional element.

Well done!

I have picked up a couple of F series lenses in the last few years that I can't see myself getting rid of any time soon. Every so often when I'm going through my library of old images something pops right out at me. Here's a winter scene shot on my K200D with the F 50 1.7.

I used my F35-70 zoom for the "Single in November" challenge last month. I have written a short review of how I got on here. Rather than repeat it all, I thought I would just post the link. This is the fourth month I have managed to take a photo with my chosen lens every day, although some technical issues have resulted recently in my not being able to post them immediately. I only have two F-series lenses (I think...), this one and a F50/1.7. The 35-70 is really rather good (especially if one tweaks the focus manually using live view) and represents very good value for money.

Cheers, Kris.

Agree with this. The "macro" function is a nice bonus.

Here's one taken with its unsung sibling, the F35-80 on *ist D (xposted). It was my default "dogwalk & walks in the woods" lens for awhile...
