My wife asks the question all the time. Clearly, they are rather different in terms of the images created.

Plus, they all are great lenses. At least, they are much more useful than diamonds some people buy.

I can understand owing the 1:2/28 and 1:35/35 but what do you do with the other ones?

not the best example but this qualifies i think
FOV trio DA14 on Digital, Lentar 21 on 35 mm and MC40 on 645 (actually 24 in 35 terms) , from a DOF aspect the 645 is by far the narrowest despite having the slowest aperture wide open and the da 14 is deepest despite being the fastest. for the same DOF as the da 14 with the 645 I have to close it down to f9.5-11

Both together - M50/1.4 & K24/2.8

Really enjoy using both, and just bought a splitscreen to try and up my hit rate for in-focus shots...

this is about two & a half years ago; a lot has changed since this shot, many lenses gone and many moved in...
