The same.
I love macro... in principle But it needs time, good lighting, and often the shot must be "staged", which requires a good amount of dedication (especially at high reproduction rates).
So I am shooing very few real macros, unfortunately.
Though most macro optics are just great for other uses, and I end up using them that way much more often than at close range.
AHH, a man after my own heart. I would LIKE to do macros, I convince myself I'm going to do macros, I buy lenses and even a macro rail to ACTUALLY DO proper macros....

Then I don't.

It does require patience, and planning, which apparently is lacking in my genes despite the best of intents. But seriously, this time, I really am going to work on macros, with an Irix 150 and NiSi macro rail in hand, and put one of my three (or is it four) all-but-new tripods I never use to work. Really I am. I'm not kidding. Trust me.

Brought back to Italy a lot of lenses, mostly vintage, that I purchased when I was abroad, pre-Covid.
I have a thing for Komura and Sankor-made lenses. Some of them are great portrait lenses, with beautiful creamy bokeh.
I guess they qualify as fetish lenses

Here is a small selection of Sankor made short teles. A couple of them were left behind, so the family is not complete.

From left to right:
Mayfair Sankor F:3.5 135mm
Tokunon 1:3.2 f=135mm
Spiratone Tc 1:2.5 f=105mm
Accura Supertel Tc 1:2.8 f=135mm "zebra big ring"
Accura Supertel Tc F:2.8 135mm "zebra small ring"
SAIGA F:2.8 135mm "alu & zebra"

Top view:

All the serials end with "E", so there is no doubt attributing the lenses to Sankor.
It's quite surprising that the three objectives at the right, which have same speed/focal, were very likely designed with different optical layouts. In fact, they show different length, weight and size of the external elements.
The 135mm at the extreme right has an M42 fixed attachment, while all the others have an interchangeable T-mount. The one at the left still has its original T-mount, while the others have been refitted with a PK mount (which makes them much easier to use on my Pentax DSLRs).
My favourites are the two 2.5/105mm (one - with YS mount - is missing from the picture).
These lenses are GREAT portrait optics.
Just one example (look at the rendition of the skin, both in and out of focus!):

And while I'm still thinking about fetish lenses... here is one that should qualify for sure.

Holding a Pentax K-1 with Tokina made Soligor 8/800mm

The lens gets into its original quiver separated in two halves. It can be broken in three pieces to save space (for example to go in a suitcase).

That is very pretty... I really like the Voigtlander look - modern and clean but classic at the same time.
