Two lenses I've never used,

The big one is a head of a 300/5 tele lens from the 50ies from Berlin and the Vest Pocket Kodak is a legend from New York!
Keep it up, Georg (the other)
PS: Here's what Veijo Vilva did with the little Kodak.

Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 180mm f/2.8 (M42)

I have this Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 180mm f/2.8 (M42) and I love sharing with other Pentaxian. I call it my Zebra Football lens. If anyone has any complaint on mounting difficulty on M42 lens, look no other lens but this baby and if one can handle this lens well, you can handle many difficult M42 lens. It is my most proud M42 lens ever in possession.

Mounting Instructions:
  1. Have cap & lens hood on the zebra football lens
  2. Place lens on vertical orientation with front cap facing down
  3. mount genuine adapter on body as usual
  4. Screw camera onto the big lens

Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 180mm f/2.8 (M42)

Lens cap is 119mm
filter size is 95mm
weight is about 1100g/2.45lb

I have added the
1/4" to 3/8" tripod screw mount adapter

My copy of Pentax K 300mm f/4.0 and Vivitar Series 1 zoom
all look tiny next to it

This lens gets character when screwed
onto Pentax K10D with genuine adapter

A few test photos wide open in f/2.8 and f/4.0, hand-held

I have promised my good friend Rose to transfer ownership to her once I get over the honeymoon with this Zebra lens, I will for sure miss it.

Now THAT's what I'm talking about! Something cool and interesting using the lens as subject.... not that the lens portrait shots are bad... I'm hoping for some creativity here

Here's an outside / inside set:

Oh, and my Kodak:

While we are counting blades, here is the aperture at f22 from a Tele Westanar 135mm preset.

They were deep in, so lighting was a pain - 15 blades and the bokeh is buttery smooth.

... from Russia with love:

From Cyclop night vision device. 82mm filter thread. No aperture. Lens back protrudes way behind flange, but maybe with 'mirror-up'...

@Hinman, nice lens, and you can always borrow it back :-)

Best, Georg (the other)

Schneider 135mm f/3.5 (m42)

This Schneider 135mm f/3.5 (m42) is like an antique in my collection and I have sold it to a good friend of mine who appreciates antique and classic lens and my friend has given this lens as a rental to an Pentaxian Adventure in a small group of Pentaxian member where each members partake in a communal fashion in taking photos with a single lens and then compose a write up sharing our thoughts, likings, and experience of the lens.

I personally love this lens as it was almost my 1st SLR lens given to me by my family as a gift in tapping into photography. It was probably bought in one of the pawn shops in Macau, a little place in Asia when I was born from. But the lens used to remain unused in my camera drawer and now it has traveled to Mis's home in the adventure. I feel great in sharing this beautiful M42 lens with a bunch of my best Pentaxian friends.

OK, now for a horror picture.

Super Takumar 28/3.5

I took this photo a few days ago.

Don't worry, today I took this lens apart and this fungal infection was quite easy to remove.
