How about this bad boy?

It's a 70mm movie projector lens adapted to 645 mount.

Ay yup. Me too.
Do you have a proper plate to balance that beauty?

I do. It's a Kirk 20 cm/7.75 in lens plate. A major gripe is the foot has only one tripod hole and with the weight at the front of the lens it will occasionally swing off center.

The plates that I've purchased in the past all have a lip on one end that rest on the lens' mount to eliminate that most of the time but yes certainly a design oversight.

Yep,I have the lip tight against the foot. Back in the day most lens feet had only one tripod hole. I don't know if the Arca mount was available back then.

After the funky Ektanar, here is a weird lens.
It's a 4.5/200mm made by Enna for the M39 Braun Paxette mount.
Having a leaf shutter behind the lens, with a mount of small diameter, the design of the lens had to be quite peculiar.
In fact, a 200mm of such slow speed could have been made smaller, and with a front lens of much smaller diameter.
It works on a Pentax DSLR, with two stacked adapters. Misses the infinity by a touch.

Speaking of uncommon german stuff belonging to more or less the same period of time, here is a Novoflex bellows for medium format, with tubes and a Novoflex macro head 4.5/240mm.
I haven't checked if he lens head works on a follow focus Novoflex "gun stock" for macro hunting of little animals/insects.
The large mouth of the bellows/tubes could be used to adapt some old Petzval, or large projection lenses.

Another uncommon lens, just posted elsewhere. I'm not crossposting.

This is a bit out of date now (it was taken in 2011) as my collection of K-series primes has gone from eight to sixteen, but I thought I'd show it anyway.

Pentax K series lenses (2) par Kris Lockyear, on ipernity

K.

PS I'm not sure why my pictures now say "click to view photo", it used to just show the photo. Over on the UK Pentaxuser website the BB code still shows the image and not the link...

Hahaha, the critters grow in number and the old pics don't show the whole family!
I have the same problem. I don't have most of my lenses with me, cause most of the time I'm away from home, and the photos I saved on this HD are very few, and rather old.
I took a step in the right direction tough.
I brought almost all my small format optics to the same location, next time they will go in the same room, and many (at least the most loved ones) will find place in Ikea glass closets I've already started to assemble.
It will be the right time to separate the duplicates, and a few that have no place on my Pentax DSLR's, to finally try to sell them.
It must be a kind of illness, selling a lens is like pulling a tooth: I don't like the idea and I instinctively postpone it
I guess the lack of funds for new acquisitions will finally give me a good reason to get rid of what I really don't need.
Next time I go home... not going to happen very soon

I found a photo of my travel kit. It's from two times ago, and it shows only MF lenses. The AF objectives were excluded from the picture.
A (virtual) prize to the pentaxian who identifies them all.
I anticipate that is NOT as easy as it seems! A couple of them don't openly reveal their identity

Most of them are still with me.
I love vintage lenses. To have more of them with me I've started to leave some of them in storage here.
Found fungi three times in a row, less and less, but still a little.
Last time I went to great lengths to protect them and take preemptive measures. Even sent myself a huge dehumidifier from EU!
Well... it seems I finally got away from mildew inside my lenses. Everywhere else, yes. Inside by objectives, NO
I am rotating my most loved MF lenses to have a chance to properly test a least the most interesting ones.
A few of those in the previous picture went home, and others took their place.
I like to experimen with MF vintage lenses, and I end up loving some of them.
One example are the Soligor C/D P.
I took one with me last time:

Soligor C/D P f2 135mm

The other came this time. After a long search for an example sold a a decent price, found this one in the USA. Arrived in the mailbox of my in-laws minutes after I had to leave for the airport!

Soligor C/D P f2 28mm

The red "P" series of the Soligor C/D family is at least at the same level of the Vivitar Series 1.
All made by Tokina, these lenses were meant to be "professional" and compete with OEM optics.
The build is very good, and they look beautiful.
Both serials start with 174, which means that they were manufactured by Tokina in 1974.
I love the 135mm, and I'm starting to love the 28mm too.
