Very nice indeed. I'm off today to photograph the daughter and her dawg. I will probably end up using the 70-210 for that, but if the granddaughter comes along as well, I might get some more pictures of her with the 85.

Yesterday was a snow day here in Virginia. A little bit unusual -- we don't seem to have big snows very often. Personally, I love snow and enjoyed getting out in it and spending time with my children.

Well today my 85 helped me save a moment in time, my wife starts a course of chemotherapy today, luckily I had the lens mounted on the K1 nearby when I saw this rim light around her soon to be lost hair, literally a 2 second quick grab shot and the 85 delivered looking almost straight in to the morning's sunshine. Fortunately her prognosis is good and we are thankful for the medical people getting this sorted out quickly .
