Thanks!
I'm just going through some photos I took with it at a night festival. Still waiting for the lens hood in the mail.

here's the album. All shot at f1.2 of course. (what aperture ring?)

Here's one that's slightly out of focus, but I still kinda like it.

I didn't realize that there was another version of the cosina lens. I got the 58mm lens hood today, and it didn't fit. At first I wondered if the hood was the wrong size. Then I figured out that the filter size on the lens is 55mm. Luckily I have a 55mm-58m step up converter, so I can still use it the hood. I guess I have an older version of the lens.

Three shots with Cosina 1.2 at my garden
All more or less cropped. The lens has its charm most definitely.

well, yes and no.

See this Revuenon 55 review: Revuenon 55mm F1.2 MC Lens Reviews - Miscellaneous Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database

"Identical to the Cosina 55/1.2, right down to the engraving (except for the word "Revuenon"). The rubber grip on the focus ring is different."

So if I read it correct, it's optically the same lens, only small differences in the barrel (?).

Anyway, you're right that the logo is different.

I strongly suspect they were all manufactured by Tomioka and re-branded anyway.

Terrific shot zzeitg.
