The smog like haze is from a grass fire (the blackened area in the middle). As we were camping (without a tent, though) we had to keep an eye out in case the wind changed.

DA 18-55 WR.

worked up some more old images that previously had not been processed... Kit partnered with K100D, First three taken in Carefree AZ 2009, all at 18mm... The last one in Sequoia National Forest in 2010...

Maybe not the greatest of shots, but very timely. This was taken exactly 3 yrs ago today with my then new-to-me *istD & 18-55 kit lens. I think this once empty field is now occupied by a bunch of mega-warehouses

2 days after Category 1 Cyclone Ita passed through in Far North Queensland, Australia

On vacation in Peru. The bright colors on the boats and light terrain make the exposure meter underexpose by about 1 EV consistently.
