My very first DSLR (I started long before digital) was the K100D Super with the 18-55 mk1 and 50-200. I took that kit to Paris my first time there. The 50-200 was a good choice for the occasional detail shots. The light compact lens was a great addition to the 18-55 and I'm glad I had it.
Today I'd likely crop an 18-135 shot from my k3, but your pic speaks volumes.
