Took a few snaps riding yesterday with the 18-55.

It's slowness was a problem in the dark woods, and was getting horrible flare/bleed from the sky (think lens was a bit dirty maybe).

However, got a couple of OK shots:





Got a feeling the 77mm would be a great lens for this sort of thing.

Here is one of my first shots with the K-x and kit lens.

I was on a family outing to Longwood Gardens in Chester County, Pennsylvania. I only took the kit lens and my 55-300, since it was family time. LIke most people, my family is not enthralled with waiting for me to change lenses or "just get a couple more" shots.

I was happy to get this picture. I love the colors and highlights, and think the lens did a great job with color and sharpness. Only processed with quick preset in Aperture 3 for brightening the shadows.
