Were you coming up to ground level fromn a staircase below in the first shot?

Also, do you ask people for their permission to take these shots or do you just smile and shoot?

Thanks folks. I just lay the camera down on the ground and shoot. I rarely if ever ask for permission to shoot. I just smile and shoot

Thanks Steve. Pentax does make the best kit lens around in my opinion.

Mine isn't quite as impressive as other, but in my defence I am only just starting out This was taken with my 18-55 DAL.

lol Yay my first award! It's the discarded shell of a cicada. I guess you wouldn't see many in NY!

Oh I should add, that these things were great when I was a kid. My friends and I would stick them onto our shirts and show people and gross them out. A merry time was had by all lol.
