DA 18-55 WR
Armenian highland, something what could still be called "nature". Some Yazidis nomads can be met over there (yes, those Yazidis which are massacred by ISIL in Iraq and Syria).

You may have over-processed the first one a bit but, well, it works like this. The colours on the second one are just gorgeous.

Hi Steve, I made these shots during my trip to Armenia. This country is full of such architectonic gems. As this is not a restful region, they had good reasons historically to fortify the churches and monasteries.

Lot of Armenian churches can be found in neighbouring countries, too (mainly in Iran and Georgia), while in other countries the destiny of their cultural relics was not so pleasant. Almost everything had been destroyed in the territory of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, well regrettably also in Turkey. There's war in Syria and Iraq and many Christian constructions are wasted, too.
