Another one from Namibia with the WR kit lens. It's from several years ago, but when I finally published it on Flickr a couple of days ago it went into Explore

The second of my extremely rainy days in Japan was spent in Kamakura, after rail travel problems which extended the time we took to get there from Tokyo from the usual one hour to almost four.

A very nice place, I wish we'd had more time there, even in the constant rain as there was plenty to see. The weather limited my lenses to the WR 18-55mm and together with the K3 they took quite a lot of water over them but never missed a beat.

While visiting family in Calif in early October, my brother & I visited the CAF (Commemorative Air Force) museum in Camarillo. I picked the wrong time to visit, since most of their planes were performing at a show back home in Dallas! Still, it was an interesting visit, as always. Here's a few shots of the C-46F Commando on display. K10D & DA18-55:
More info on the aircraft here: Curtiss C-46F Commando | CAF SoCal

Going through some pictures from a visit to Spain a few years ago. All taken with the K-5 & 18-55 WR.

The train line into town.

Looking along the coast the other way.

Taken at speed, holding the K-5 out through the window - and no, I wasn't the driver

Sunset over the mountains.

Love this series, and enjoyed reading up on this magnificent facility by looking it up on-line.

Thank you! It is an incredible story and a big peace of history in Toronto that usually gets overlooked. It's so hard (for me anyway) to imagine that Castle being a couples house. Just incredible and sad at the same time given the whole story.
