Here's a few more photos from the Commemorative Air Force museum visit last month. All with the K10D + DA18-55:

Inside the C-46F Commando. The plane is not flyable at the moment:

Looking out the side window at the CAF's newly-acquired C-47 and other planes:

From inside the mostly empty hangar. Most of their planes were performing at a show in Dallas that weekend.

Few shots with Pentax-DA L 18-55mm f 3.5-5.6 AL WR

The 18-55 kit lens with weather resistance (WR) was my go-to lens to capture landscape scenes after a night of rain and turbulent weather in northeast Ohio, here on the K-3.

Just a clarifying question: What is considered a "kit lens"? My assumption is that any lens that is bundled by Pentax with a camera in a "kit" is a kit lens - so things like the 18-55 series I and II, the 50-200, the 18-135 all come to mind. Are there others?

From page one of this thread:

The Kit Lens Club!
Best shot from Kit Lens 18-55 I or II

Let's see how best this lens can be used in good hands. Share your best image taken with kit lens

But there are other kit lenses as you mentioned. I think the DAL55-300 might have been one. Usually the DAL series with plastic mount, no quickshift or hood, were considered kit lenses (bundled with the camera body). However, I think for this thread the OP considered the 18-55 as "the" kit lens.

I'm seeing shots of the 50-200 in the thread and also when I inquired about the "kit lens club" for other lenses the mods pointed me here.

I have some DA 18-135 shots I could post but only if it makes sense.

There are plenty of 18-135 photos in this thread already, so fire away
