I'm setting in the woods with a 600mm on the K20 tripod mounted waiting for a thrush when this one comes along so I grab the DL with the kit lens. About ten feet full frame.

Ooh, just in general, some nice work here.

I'll try and put my kit lens in play more as soon as my decent rear caps arrive: I've been afraid to carry more than one Pentax lens without them since I found the supplied pop-on cap loose in the bag just from walking across the street.

(Before my 50 arrived, I shot a lot of rather boring test shots, apart from something I entered in a contest here.)

Does seem to be one of the nicer kit lenses out there, though.

I have nothing recent, but here are a few that are a couple of years old. Frankly, The Pentax Kit lens kicks butt..Not like the toy my Wife's Nikon came with.

Perhaps not my best, but a favorite. At the same time I think it tends to show some of the issues this lens can have... I got a lot of chromatic aberrations that needed post processing here...
