The new-to-me Pentax SMC-DA f/3.5-5.6 18-55mm AL kit zoom arrived. I didn't have a lens on my K-R, so I plopped it onto it. I decided that I would shoot the lens in a variety of ways, with a variety of subjects, before doing any formal tests or comparisons--a process I barely began yesterday with some green "Auto-Pict" mode shots. I shot a variety of focal lengths, but more 55mm than others, not necessarily a sweet spot, ha, ha. These examples are OOC Jpegs.

Indeed and as long as you don't print overly large they are sufficient sharp too
