Oh man...You hit it out of the park. Nice colors and contrast. Love the subject and composition. Did you find if the cpl helped?

Thanks so much jgredline The CPL definitely 'cleared' the water and gave me those rich tones. I may keep it on all the time

Good to know. I certain lenses where the CPL is a part of the lens now

couldnt quite fit that whole crane, maybe i should have lined it up differently

Actually, I think it works very well the way it is. A full crane would simply be another crane. This is perfect to my eyes.

Wow. This is VERY inspiring stuff.

KX with 18-55 was supposed to be arriving today or tomorrow, so I guess it's tomorrow.

But now I'm really getting excited about walking around with that lens. I'll keep it at 18, and stick between 8 and 11.
