My favorite from the !8-55 II

One of my better shots from this lens....at 18mm. For the price I cannot complain...

Tim / atupdate,
the shot inside the barn has perfect lighting, really good!

One of the strenghts of this lens is 'contre jour' into the sun photos, amazing really.

I'm lusting the *16-50 right now but all my best images are with the kit lens! Then again it'sprobably the lens I carry most often... still trying to get the hang on using primes.

I'm afraid I don't use the DA18-55mm all that much any more.
It's quite good actually if you use it in the 'sweet spot'.
Plus it get's quite a bit 'enhanced' if you use DxO Optics.
Some examples:







I even remember I was a bit worried when I had added a prime to my digital set-up whether the difference was sufficient. Have a look at this thread.
