P.S., I see distinct changes in my photos after the PC>SMUGMUG>PF process--pretty annoying!
I don't but then I can't see that well anyway.

Lovely.

Finally got a shot of the snowy owl in flight. Not exactly looking at the camera but I am happy.

I was wondering when you were going to post it to this thread. As I said previously, great shot!

Rod, that gets the character of that type of bird. Were we discussing them in this or another thread in the past couple of days?

Was it raining?

Yep it was raining - I was in my study, shooting through an open window.
The other thread was the one about everything except photography - bacon, cheese, death adders, etc!

OMG where is that thread?!? All great recipes start with first you cook a pound of Bacon... Cheese I will defer to the great state of Wi. and I purchase more than my fair share and I go through a lot of it. And grew up testing milk fat content back before the happy cows of Ca. became No 1 in production in the US, NY was second only to Wi. back then. But assume with the adders comment that is not the main focus, however high protein and fat can actually extend your life if done correctly....

Back on topic, nice shot in the rain! While I really would love to own a DA* 560 or 500 Sig your 150-500 Sig @ 440 is a GREAT shot. Well done good sir!

Very nice images., Ken. I especially like #1. Very sharp focus.... and an interesting bird. TFS. If I may ask, what lens/camera were you using?
Thanks Dewman, I used Pentax K3 + Sigma 500 F4.5 for that shot.
