We got way more than that... we have snow , black fly, mosquito, deer and horse fly season, fall is nice though, the snow hasn't come yet and the bugs are dead.

You don't have a Mud Season? When she lived in Vermont, my sister would always invite me up for that.

Coincides with mosquito season, which begins as soon as the snow begins melting.

Black Fly season begins around the same time as trout season...

We go to Niagara Falls and stay with the step son for mud season, it gets to the point where every time the dogs go for a pee or walk, which is at least 5 times day, we have to mop the floor. Easier to just pack up and go south. And besides, mud season coincides with black fly season. Black flies make more of an impression on you, but if you don't have black flies, maybe it's the mud you remember most.

From today in the snow...

The only reason I was out there was for the streaky bokeh... you think I'd sit out there until my fingers don't work anymore for just another ho hum day?
Well you are sadly mistaken young feller..
